Even the trolls who released bad mods intentionally to crash people's games didn't get away with it after the first one. If the creation kit is used, there won't be any 'hiding' done. Might have been part of it, but wasn't the sole cause. The esrb didn't re-rate Oblivion for a nvde mod. Would mods like those pass Sony and Microsoft? I seriously doubt it. Do the Witcher and DA:I have Michael Jackson with kids? What about a torture dungeon where you order npcs into cells and actively choose what instrument to use on them? Were those mods for Oblivion that I saw discussed at various points in time? Yes. But games created by studios that are following 'the rules' are not the same as mods made by players.
